I think it would be easier if everyone just ehecks out the home page of
www.familytreedna.com It's pretty self explanatory.
Since a lot of us track back to Lee County Va after Bedford etc., I can't
see anything wrong with joining the Cumberland Gap group. Does anyone else
have a problem with that ?
Tommy, I'm going to track down my cousin tomorrow one way or the other. On
paper
he is a direct descendant of Arthur Markham of Bedford and an ideal
candidate. If I can't find him, he has three or four sons and I'll find one
of them in Charlottesville
instead.
This is a lot simpler than everyone is making it. Those who want to
participate can go ahead and order kits as cheaply as they can and we will
have several weeks of waiting for results to discuss how to handle them.
Good for you, Tommy. I'm glad you've ordered your kit. I will order one or
two for my guys this week.
Karen B.
