Hi Nick,

I have a John Marshall who was a apparently shoemaker in Chatham around
1837. I don't think that he will link up with your relatives in any way, but
you never know.

I had put a message out a couple of months ago re: my John Marshall. I had a
reply that you might find interesting though. It was from a gentleman named
Alan Marshall who had the following:


"Walter or William Marshall, his wife Eliza(nee Salter) and children;
William(b. 1815), James(b. 1816), Edward(b. 1819) and Walter(b. 1823). There
may have been other children but at this stage I don't know. Cheers....Alan
