My Martin clan seemed to be connected to Lightermen and Watermen in and
around the docks of London. fa. George William mo. Elizabeth TAYLOR from
Essex with children Mary Ann; Jane; Alfred John; George William; and Albert
Charles. Mary Ann m ALBROW; Jane m (I don't know) Alfred John jumped ship in
Australia; Albert Charles m Ellen HUSSEY and migrated with children to New
Zealand; George William stayed put in Barnet m Mina Bessie ? with daughters
Gladys and Vera and possibly a William.
Does anyone think they have a connection?
