Thanks for emailing me back.
This line seems so confusing to me!
So Jonh Martin & Susanahh Emory are Judge Johns Parents right?
My husbands ggg-grandmother Rutha Angeline Mulkey said on her 1896
Citizenship App. that her mother was Nancy McWhorter whose maiden name was
Martin. She is the sister to Judge John Martin a Cherokee by blood.
I can't see someone who did not read or write make up something like this. Do
you have anymore info on John & Susannah's Children?
My Rutha was born in 1833. Her mother Nancy was born around 1803. I have
information on Nancy after she married the Mulkey fellow. When she married
him she was a Gann. So Martin was probably a Maiden name. Unless her mother
was the Nancy Martin that married a McWhorter and they had a daughter named
Nancy McWhorter...
There are too many Nancy Martins!
