Cecile, What area of Georgia is your lineage of Martins from?
Mine come from Harts County (?) or Wilkes County (?) to the
Anderson Area of South Carolina.

Where are those people looking for the Martins in the North?
Pat
In Response to Pat's message:
My Martins are from Georgia, but at the beginning of my search (1997), I
ran across a good bit of info on the family of Lt. Samuel Martin who died in
WESTERFIELD, CONNECTICUT in 1693 and whose family has spread all over this
country. At the time, I thought that I had found the source of my Reuben
Martin, as there were a number of Reubens in this info. However, soon I
found a German family in NC who also had Reubens. Recently, I received info
that these families had intermarried, but have not had time to look into
this.
I will be glad to share what I have on these families. Am in the process
of going through old folders, so it may take a little time.
