B. J. Young was also appointed as admistrator of the Estate of Ranson B.

early from VA. I believe that Ranson Cunningham was the grandfather of
Martha Virginia Cunningham who married George Wesley Martin, s/o William M.

Because William M. Martin died and left monor children, a court appointed

In conclusion: I have come across data from another researcher:
Col. James Martin of Snow Creek, Stokes Co NC, is the father of Gov.
Alexander Martin of Rockingham Co NC.

James Martin , Sr. b. 1749 VA d. 1788 , married Obediance Bugg b. 1755.
There is a line coming down from this couple which has a BAYLY MARTIN, as
the son of James Obediance Martin.

Because of the use of the name Bayley Martin in my family line, I am
wondering if my family descends from this couple?

Please reply with comments and corrections.
Best regards,
Lilly Martin, d/o Joe, s/o Joe, s/o Joe, s/o William M. Martin b. 1826 NC.
