Thank you for the very prompt response. The James Martin I am
looking for had to be alive in 1817 as Charles D. Martin was
born c 1818. And, if the bio of Charles D. is anything like
correct, the father of this James was an Isaac Martin and this
Isaac's wife was Sarah last name unknown, all said to be farmers
and all said to be born in NC. Thanks again, Shirley
