I have a John Matthews married to Elizabeth Rider in 1771 at Wolverton
Warwickshire, offsprings were labeled Mathews / Mathes /Mathis depending
which on vicar performed the ceremony. These people have no recorded
history in the parish prior to the marriage, has anybody lost a John
Matthews ?.
