I am searching for information on James Matthews, some say his middle name was Byers but I am not convinced it is!!!!!!Anyway he was born in SC 19 APR 1800 and I don't know when he came to Carrol co MS but he married Abigail Reynolds in Carroll co and raised a family of 14 Children....

If you have any information on this Matthews I would appreciate any help I can get
