Services for Della Matthews will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2008, in
the chapel of John Kramer & Son with Rev. Jimmy Koonce officiating. Interment
will be in Alexandria Memorial Gardens, Alexandria under the direction of John
Kramer & Son.

Della Matthews, 76, of Alexandria, died Sunday, February 24, 2008, in her
residence after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Matthews retired from Rapides Bank and Trust after 20 years of service.

She worked for over 10 years for Edward Jones. Mrs. Matthews was a devoted wife,
mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Dewayne Matthews and her parents,
Annie Darnell Turner and James W. Turner.

Della Matthews is survived by her husband of fifty-five years, Arnold Matthews
of Alexandria; one son, Randy Matthews and wife, Liz of Alexandria; four
grand-children, Dustin Matthews and wife, Kelly of Alexandria, Lynzee Matthews
of Alexandria, Justin and Ashlee Matthews and their mother Vicki Matthews of
Pineville; one sister, Annie Mae McMurray of Hodge; sister-in-law, Willie Mae
Turner of Calhoun; niece, Jeannie Stewart of Ruston; three sister-in-laws and
many nieces and nephews

Visitation will be 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 8:30 a.m. Wednesday
until time of service at John Kramer & Son.
