On October 30,1913 the church voted to accept chairs given by the Christian Endeavor Society, to replace the old settees, which were later sold at auction.

The three dutch chairs was a gift of Mrs. Martha (Smith) Rockwell of Leominster and William Gates of Worcester. Mr. Arthur E. Gray, in behalf of friends in Worcester, presented the Communion table and plates for the offering.

The 157th anniversary of the founding of the church was observed September 7,1924 with a historical sermon by Rev. Edward L. Chute at 10:45 and a vesper service at 4 o'clock.

On June 30,1926 it was voted to accept the land and rights described in a deed from the town of Paxton by a committee authorized for the purpose, dated February 1,1926 recorded with the Worcester District Deeds Book 2369, page 161. Rufus B. Dunbar was appointed to petition in behalf of the First Congregational Church of Paxton all interest in any real or personal property, the title to which still remained in the First Parish of Paxton, such holdings to include besides the buildings and property, the common and cemetery.

Mr. Edward D. Bigelow who died June 28,1933 bequeathed to the church the sum of $31,000, the income only to be used for the support of the church.
