The following was sent to me per my request for an ancestor's obituary. I am
posting all that I can from the photocopy in hopes that information contained
on this page may help someone else in their search.

Whitinsville Department
Dennis DUPOST has applied for naturalization papers.
Fred WEYMAN of Attleboro, is visiting friends in town.
Mr. and Mrs. A.M. PROCTOR are visiting friends in New York.
Mrs. Percy C. HOUGHTON is confined to her home with a severe cold.
Miss Sarah STRANE of Millville, is visiting Mr. and Mrs. James BOOTH.
The I O O F worked the initiatory degree on a candidate Monday evening.
Andrew J. BROWN is confined to his home with a severe attack of the grip.
Mr. and Mrs. Nathaniel LUBJINSKY welcomed a baby girl to their home Tuesday.
Mrs. Harry DAVIS of Worcester, is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L.
REMINGTON.
Mrs. William MORROW has gone on a 3 months' visit to her former home in
Spencer, N.B.
James BROWN was elected president of the Y P S C E at their regular meeting
Tuesday evening.
Rev. W.F. LAWFORD, pastor of the M E church, is attending the M E conference
at Worcester, this week.

Rev. Wm. P. BARTLETT delivered a strong Palm Sunday discourse at the Baptist
church.
A 12 pound baby boy arrived last Saturday and found a welcome in the family
of Louis CROSS.
Eugene USHER covered the ground between Providence and this place last Sunday
on a bike.
Oliver CHRISTIAN of New Bedford has been in town the past week, seeking aid
for the strikers at that place.
Palm Sunday was celebrated at the Catholic church by two masses, Fr. BRASSEAU
the first and Fr. CAMPEAU the second.
Ephraim NADEAU, aged 3 years, died on Saturday, after a short illness of
pneumonia, and was buried in Calvary cemetery.
Mrs. C.F. SMITH and son Arthur of North Smithfield, passed the Sabbath with
her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence HOLT.
Etienne BONNEAU died Sunday, aged 38, of tuberculosis, after an illness
covering a period of four years, and was buried in East Douglas.
Mrs. Pauline R. PECKHAM, and daughter Lila, returned to their home in Saugus,
on the third, after a three weeks' visit with Mr. and Mrs. Edward ADAMS.
Louis PLANT is confined to the house with acute lumbago and Mrs. Plant is
seriously ill, in bed, with peritonitis. - Both however show signs of slight
improvement.
Last Saturday a horse belonging to J.O. PARKER indulged in a runaway,
becoming frightened at the sound of blasting rocks some workmen were doing
near No. 1 mill. Mr. Parker was precipitated to the ground without ceremony,
striking on his stomach, receiving a severe shaking up. The horse ran to his
stable and the outcome was only a slight damage to the vehicle and a little
excitement.
The following obituary is incomplete on my part only as the page ran out, but
there is enough information available to perhaps, aid someone.
Death of Edward F. WOOD
The funeral of Edward F. Wood, who died Sunday Morning, took place Wednesday
afternoon at 2 o'clock. He was a member of the Presbyterian church, and for
many years an elder in the congregation.
Deceased was 65 years of age, and a native of the North of Ireland, where he
married Matilda BROWN, a sister of Robert K. Brown and Miss Rebecca Brown,
both of this village. He came here about 35 years ago, and has made his home
here ever since.
He leaves, besides a wife to mourn his loss, three sons and one daughter,
Hiram of Whitinsville, David in the west, and Robert, whose whereabouts are
unknown. The daughter is Mrs. Sarah HARVEY of Woonsocket, R.I. Mr. Wood is
the last of his father's family.
