I am researching a Leroy Chester or Chester Leroy Belleu or possibly Ballou, any of the many spellings. He was born between 1892-97 and was placed in an orphanage somewhere in or near Worcester at the age of two, his mother had died, but his father was still alive. He knew he had a family member named Alpheus and that's about all. I would like to know how to obtain a list of all the Orphanages in the area, maybe some of the records are still there. He was my husband's father and he died without ever knowing his family. Thank you .
