I would be very interested in this photo!! Mr. CLAFLIN is indirectly
connected to my line. His full name is Charles Ripley Burnett CLAFLIN, he
married Cora SCOVILLE the niece of my great-great grandfather, and the
daughter of Albert SCOVILLE. He did have a photography studio in Worcester
and I didn't know where until your email. Cora was born in 1869, but Charles
was quite a bit older than her. Cora's stepmother Margaret Apperson was
somehow connected to the McCausland family. As to the time-frame of your
photo it is hard to say, it could be anywhere from the 1870s to early 1900s.
I can check further in my records for you. If someone out there has access to
city directories for Worcester perhaps they can check to see when he set up
shop.
