Hi,

Looking for any information on Joseph B. Abbot who married Rachel
Cochran
in Andover, MA on July 28, 1808, according to the Vital Records
of Andover.

In a letter to my grandmother from my grandfather's niece in New
York, she
states that according to a family Bible, there is an Abbot who married
Rachel Cochran in 1808. It lists Rachel's parents as James
Cochran and Saloma
Knowlton. She couldn't read the first name of Rachel's husband -
just Abbot.

On the LDS site and on Ancestry.com, I've found reference to Joseph B.
Abbot and Rachel Cochran.

Any information would be much appreciated. My Abbott (Abbot)
ancestors
are proving to be very elusive. I have been trying to find the
Abbot/Cochran
connection for three years, and now would also like to find the
names of
their children, etc.
