There were many chair manufacturers in Templeton. There are nine of them
listed in the Business Directory foe MA for 1874. They were located
through out the town which is made up of Templeton, East Templeton,
Otter River, and Baldwinville. Most of them went out in the flood in 1938.
In the vital records of Templeton, it shows that Henry Merritt Moore was
born to Uriah B. Moore and Amanda Partridge on 9/1/1838.
John Stillman was born to Stillman S. Jordan and Betsey on 8/15/1848.
I also have a friend that is researching the Moore's. I will forward
your posting to her.
