Peggy -
Billerica is now in Middlesex county. As far as I know,
Middlesex and Suffolk were the first 2 counties in MA,
1600's - so I'm guessing that Billerica was always in
Middlesex.

Most of the records would be at the town level anyway,
unless you need something from a court. New England
doesn't keep many records on the county level, like other
states.
