Mary A. Rice of Newton, died at her home peacefully, June 10, 2003.
Beloved wife of the late John P. Rice. Loving mother of Mary E.
Southerton of Marshfield, Patricia Koningisor of Framingham, John B.
Rice of Newton, and the late James J. Rice. Sister of the late Thomas
McGowan, Catherine Clougherty, and Rita McGowan. Aunt of Maureen Colls
of Randolph. Beloved grandmother of 9 grandchildren. Funeral from the
Blackington, Conroy & Hayes Funeral Home, 1479 Washington Street, (Rte.
16), West Newton, Friday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in Our Lady Help of
Christan's Church at 9 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8PM. Interment in
Newton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New
England Shelter for Homeless Veterans, 17 Court St., Boston, MA 02108.
