Andy -

I live in MA and never heard of Jefferson, so I had to look for it!
The USGS site gave this information -

Feature Name: Jefferson
Feature Type: populated place
Elevation (feet): 802
Description: 1 mi NW of Holden; Town of Holden.
State: Massachusetts
County: Worcester
Variant Name(s) Eagleville
Jeffersonville
USGS 7.5' x 7.5' Map: Paxton
422150N
0715253W

I found a page with the police log for the Holden Police Department
which responded to some addresses in Jefferson, so I am guessing
here that you want the Holden town hall. I think it's probably a
village,
or a post office with the town itself. Here is the Holden Clerk's web
site
http://www.townofholden.net/clerk/births.php

They have a place on that page to order on line.

Town Clerk's Office: (508) 829-0265

I did not find an email address.

Lisa

1890. Jefferson, Mass. is adjacent to the town of Holden in Worcester
County. I can't find an address or phone number for the town clerk in
Jefferson. Would anyone know how I should go about getting my uncle's
birth certificate? He had a sister (named Marguerite), and a brother
(named Levi aka Leo), and another sister born in succession after him
in the town of Jefferson during the 1890s and I might want their birth
certificates too.
