Margaret F. (Coonan) Crotty, 87, formerly of 10 Wyman St., died
yesterday in Hermitage Nursing Home, 383 Mill St.

Her husband, John R. Crotty, died in 1982. She leaves two sons, John
R. Crotty Jr. of Attleboro and James F. Crotty of Worcester; two
daughters, Margaret A. Campbell-Norton and Helen E. Ouellette, both of
Worcester; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nephews and
nieces. She was born in Worcester, daughter of George and Margaret
(Campbell) Coonan, and lived here all her life.

Mrs. Crotty was a member of St. Peter's Church, and a former member
and past president of its Guild of Our Lady Queen of Peace. She was a
member of the Third Order of St. Francis. During World War II, Mrs.
Crotty was an active volunteer for the United Service Organization.

The funeral will be held tomorrow from McCrea-Murphy Funeral Home, 921
Main St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Peter's Church, 931 Main St.
Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral
home are 6 to 9 tonight.
