Dot in PA,
The Rebekahs are a benevolent society closely linked with the
International Order of Oddfellows. You can find out about both the Rebekahs
and the Oddfellows at the following sites:
The Sovereign Grand Lodge of IOOF:
http://www.ioof.org/
The International Association of Rebekah Assemblies:
http://www.ioof.org/rebekah_degree.htmwhich
My grandmother, Gladys J. (Alger) Miller (1921-1988), of No. Grafton,
MA, was a Rebekah too.

Hi Lisa,
Saw your info and thought I would take a chance and ask about the
Congregational Church in Bristol R.I. As far as I know it is still there.I
learned on visiting my g grandmother's grave that the large iron "R" on her
grave was for the Daughters of Rebecca. Was this part of the Congregational
Church? I do know that she belonged to the Church there is Bristol and
wondered what info they would have that would help me break down the brick
wall I have been trying to climb Dot in Pa.
