Here Lies ye Body of Ruth Cooper, dafter (dau.) of Mr. Moses & Mrs. Ruth
Cooper, Who Died Sept. ye 27, 1750, age 6 Years, 7 mos & 14 days.

Here Lies ye Body of Lenard Cooper, ye Son of Mr. Moses & Mrs. Ruth Cooper,
Who Died Sept ye 1, 1759 Aged 4 Years, 9 Mos.

John Dresser Son of Mr. Aaron & Mrs. Mehetabal Dresser who died Feb 25th
1738 in ye 4th Year of his Age. And Jedediah their son who died Sept ye

30th 1736 in ye 2nd Year of his Age & Aaron their son who was born Sept
ye 29th, 1733 & died in 1 Hour.

Hannah Dresser dau of Mr. Aaron & Mrs. Mehetabel Dresser who died Jan ye

18th 1749 in ye 12th Year of Her Age.

In Memory of Mrs. Mehetabeel Eager Wife of mr. Fortunatus Eager, who died
March ye 29th, 1759, in the 26th year of her Age.

In Memory of 3 Children of Mr. Jonathan & Mrs. Thankfull Fairbanks.
Jonathan Fairbanks died Oct ye 19th 1747 in ye 5th year of his Age.
Joshua Fairbanks died Oct ye 21st 1747 in ye 2nd year of his Age.
Jonathan Fairbanks died Dec ye 14th, 1750 in ye 2nd year of his Age.


In Memory of Mrs. Mercy Gates who Died Feb. ye 4th 1756, In ye 44th year
of her Age.

In Memory of Mrs. Esther Glazier wife of Mr. John Glazier. Died July 9,
1753 in ye 38th Year of her Age.

In Memory of Mr. Nathan Goodell who died Sept ye 10th 1762 in ye 26th
Year of His Age.
"Thou Shortned hast, His youthful days; But him Immortal, Thou shalt
raise."

Deo Patriae Amicis.
In Memory of Mr. William Harris who fled from ye destruction of Charlestown
A.D. 1775 where he was Public School Master 11 Years and came to this town
where he died Oct 30, 1778, aged 34 Years & 3 months. He left behind a Wife
& 4 children who raised this stone to perpetuate ye memory of a man justly
beloved. "O ye whose cheek ye tear of pity stains. Draw near with pious
reverence
& attend; Here lie ye loving Husband's dear remains, The tender Father,
& the generous Friend; The pitying heart that felt for human woe; the
dauntless heart opposed to human pride; The friend of man, to vice alone a
foe; "For even his failings leaned to virtue's side."

Here is deposited what was mortal of Ann Harris, dau of Mr. William &
Mrs. Rebeccah Harris. Ann who died Feb 8, 1778, aged 3 yrs 3 mths & ll
days. & of William Harris who died on the 16th of the same month, aged 5
months & 21 days.
"Beneath this stone two infants lie; to mingle with the dust.
Yet they shall mount to the sky and dwell among the just.
When flames of wrath shall burn ye seas, and nature groan its last,
Millions on earth will wish their days as swiftly too had past."

Here lies ye Body of Mrs. Bethesda Houghton, wife of Mr. Josiah Houghton
Died April 20, 1755. In ye 37th year of her Age. Also Bethesda Houghton
dau to ye above named, died April 10, 1756, aged 1 year & 21 days.

Dinah Houghton, du of Mr. Ezra & Mrs. Dinah Houghton who Died Oct ye 17th
1756, aged 7 Years 3 mos & 4 Days. Mary Houghton dau of Mr. Ezra & Mrs.
Dinah Houghton who was still-born Nov ye 12, 1753.

In Memory of Mr. Benjamin Houghton who Died April ye 25th, 1759, in the

27th Year of his Age.

Hear (sic) Lies Buried the Body of Mr. Benjamin Houghton who Departed this
Life February ye 28, 1764 in Ye 74th Year of His Age.
"When death unto you calls, Your soul Resine you must,
To God that judgeth all, Both Wicked and the just.
Death is a debt to Nature due, Which I have paid and so must you."

Joshua House died Aug 8th 1786 in his 62nd Year. Joshua House Jun. died
Aug 4th 1778 aged 20 Years.

Esther Kendal dau of Mr. Josiah & Mrs. Tabitha Kendall died March 10th
1756 in Ye 4th Year of Her Age.
