Lisa,
When I lived at what is now the Mendon Antique Center. The Old Mendon Inn.
This was at 4 Main Street, Mendon. The big brown house that is right next to
it was where Chief Grady use to live.He was a patrolman then.
He retired about 3 years ago. I see him all the time. He always directs
traffic jams around road construction sites in this whole area. He knows a
lot of Mendon's History.
He may be able to tell you lots of things.I have a calendar somewhere here
that Mendon put out a few years back. Every month has a different picture
from Mendon's past. It even had the ROTUNDA picture for one of the month's.
Also a diner that was on ROUTE 16 in Mendon, called BETTY"S
It was Yellow and Blue.

But former Chief Grady knows a lot of the HISTORY of Mendon.
