Many thanks for all who replied to my earlier request Re. ancestors for Joseph Waldo Rice.

Can I ask for further help please. I only wish that my informants had kept records on where they obtained the information. I am guilty of doing the same, but now try my best to always record the source - it sure helps later on!

1. Have been told www.newenglandancestors.org shows Joseph Waldo Rice b. 8 February 1828 Lincoln, Mass as son of Henry (b. 18 October 1784 Petersham) and Mary Rice (m. 20 March 1820 Petersham) and shows Luke and Prudence as parents of Henry. Is there any further information on either Henry or Mary? When did they die? Who were the parents of Mary? Where and when was she born? Does it give occupations, residences, etc?

2. I have put together the following children of Henry and Mary but have also been told, once again no source for the information, that there were 11 children.
1821 RICE Mary Susan, d. Henry and Mary, b. 14 April 1821 Lincoln
1823 RICE Samuel Henry, s. Henry and Mary b. 20 January 1823 Lincoln
1826 RICE Sarah Catherine, d. Henry and Mary b. 2 March 1826 Lincoln
1828 RICE Joseph Waldo, s. Henry and Mary, b. 8 February 1828 Lincoln
1829 RICE Louisa Joan, d. Henry and Mary, b. 21 October 1829 Lincoln
1832 RICE James Parker, s. Henry and Mary, b. 2 January 1832 Lincoln
1834 RICE Caroline Amelia, d. Henry and Mary, b. 21 August 1834 Lincoln
1836 RICE Edward Barrington, s. Henry and Mary, b. 26 September 1836 Lincoln
