Did the marriage record of Napoleon and Carmiles list the date of marriage?
I have April 1899, but would like the day if it is available.

Thank you very much for looking up the information. It is appreciated and
adds more information to my search. I will check with Salem to see if they
have anything else. I appreciate the contact information as well. That is
great.

Here are the marriage records for both Napoleon and his parents:
Marriage record from Worcester, Vol. 490, p. 418
Napoleon Vincent, 22, carpenter, b. Salem, s. Solyme & Domithil (Trottier)
Carmiles Lusignant, 20, b. Putnam, CT, d. Joseph & Victolin (Leclaire)

Marriage record from Salem, Vol. 271, p.274
Aug. 22, 1875
Solyme Vincent, 24, carpenter, of Montreal, Can., b. Canada, s.
Francois & Victoire (Metras), 2nd marriage
Domitile Trottier, 17, of Salem, b. Canada, d. Elie & Domitile (Lozon
(sp?)), 1st marriage

I was unable to find a birth record. The online records are copies of
the originals. They were sent to the MA State Archives and then NEHGS
indexes them and puts the images online. I also checked the state
index and he isn't there. It is possible that they missed copying the
record. Try contacting the Salem City Clerk. The contact information is:

Generally speaking, I have found the City/Town Clerks to be extremely
helpful. Many will even do a lookup while on the phone or will return
a call with lookup information.
