Subject: [MAXWELL-L] The Westfall-Maxwell Genealogy
Hello,
I have just updated the Westfall-Maxwell Genealogy in the Rootweb
WorldConnect Web site. This GEDCOM file contains 5927 entries. The file is
downloadable, but all information on living persons has been wiped. To take
a look, go to:
http://wc.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?db=paturner_00
This genealogy lists many of the descendants of Henry and Agnes (Carson)
Maxwell. Henry served from Pennsylvania during the Revolutionary War. His
descendants migrated west, first to Harrison County, Ohio. From there, they
moved on to Washington county, Iowa and Cowley County, Kansas.
The Westfalls descend from Jurian Westfall who came to Dutchess County, New
York during the 17th Century. His descendants intermarried with Dutch,
English and French immigrants in New York. There is a Mayflower passenger
in this file too.
