I don't know what your sources were for the above; but here is one
thing you might want to double check.

This is from _Gallup Genealogy_ by Darwin C. Gallup and Josephine
Middleton Peck, 1956.

On p. 13 they show the family of Benadam Gallup who married Eunice Cobb.
They show Esther Gallup marrying Samuel Minor of Stonington.
However, they do not show any children of theirs named Thomas.
They show a George b. Nov 24, 1745 and
Amos b. Apr 17, 1747, then
Moses b. Jun 18, 1749 etc.

It seems to me it would be unlikely that there would be a child born
in Nov 1746 and then another one in Apr 1747.

The book, Thomas Miner Descendents lists this family, pp. 44, 45. They give
George born and died 1744
Thomas, born 25 nov 1745, married Eleanor Lamb in 1765
Amos, born 17 April 1747
Moses born 18 Jun 1749
and six other children, all with Biblical names.

I can't vouch for the accuracy of all the book, but what I have checked
appears to be accurate.
