"authentic" aspect.

The page begins,"The photo above is of a replica of the vessel that brought
the Pilgrims to America - but is it? Shipbuilders of the late 16th century
and early 17th century were master craftsman who plied their trade with
secrets handed down from generations before them, and most were illiterate,
so they couldn't have read plans or engineering specifications even if such
things had existed for their benefit.

So how was someone able to create the replica shown above? That is a story
almost as fascinating as the tale of the brave Pilgrims itself."
