Hmm I'd be interested in seeing what it has in it then. The silver books
are verified down 5 generations right? That would take it (my line anyway)
down to Maj. Travers Tarpley and Elizabeth Sydnor which it does in the
Silver Book on Isaac Allerton. Someone prior to myself applied at least
from their daughter Fanny Tarpley down through another line of descent.
This was where I had to begin as well, with Fanny Tarpley and Rawleigh Chinn
which I have done.
I'm waiting my papers from the Historian to sign and send off for
applications.
I would just be curious to see what the Brewster Book shows. I believe when
I toured my county library's special collections unit I saw the Pink Books.
If memory serves me. I didn't spend much time there looking around.
I'm assuming the Pink books only go down 5 generations as well?

Janean,
Not a dumb question at all.
Usually in cases like this the silver books refer to each other, so that
they do not duplicate the same data. However, I'm not sure what will happen
in this case. The Prime Researcher for the Brewster family is an extremely
thorough researcher - this is apparent if you open up one of the four
Brewster MFIPs (Mayflower Families In Progress - pink, softcover, ongoing
research). You will find much, much more data on the families than other
MFIPs had. This being the case, Fear's line may very well be continued in
the Brewster MF (Mayflower Families) book.
I believe the Brewster MF book has been so long in coming because the
researcher is so thorough, and because there are questions that she would
like to resolve before going to the final MF format (silver hardcover).

Now here's probably a dumb question.
Once the Brewster book got to Fear would it be then an exact duplicate of
Isaac Allerton's book from Fear on?
Has anyone seen the Brewster book regarding Fear? I have the Allerton book
and it seems redundant to then get the Brewster books ya know?
Just a silly question.
