A chairde,
Figured the word "free" would get ya! I have in my possesion the death
indexes for O'Neill from 1864 thru 1926 and also starting on the birth
indexes for the same period. If any of the "family" out there would like a
look up, I'd be more than happy. All I ask is that you try your best to
narrow down the year to within a few years either way, this will make it
easier on me and enable more time for lookups for others.

Getting quiet again, everybody gone to An Bealtaine early?
How is our Clan Society going? Came across an article the other day at the FHC
and it was regarding the first clan gathering in several hundred years. This
took place in 1982. I remember it well because I was stationed in England at
the time and read about it in the R&R in Britain magazine at the time. It
refered to the inaugauration of the chiefs of the clan branches. Very
informative. Kathleen Neill is refered to in the article. So she's been
around a while, in a good sense of the word. Hope this gets to taking off!
I believe the next "Clan Gathering" would be 2002. Perhaps Kathleen, An
Bealtaine trip organizer could get the confirmation on that one from Béal
Fierste (belfast).
I think this would be an extremely important occasion for O'Neill's, and
would allow us plenty of time to prepare for. A good year to plan ahead.
Any input? Kathleen?
Does any one out there with knowledge of computers, know how to set up a web
site, and what's involved? I'd like to know. I have alot of records already
and hope to accumulate more. I want to share the information with all
interested to help the linking of our pasts.
slán go foill (bye for now)
