Still looking for information on James McCollum/McCallum b. Jan. 11, 1865
maybe in Ireland. Died Dec. 31, 1918 I think in Michigan. I know Daisy did move
sometime to Indiana but don't know if she was still married to James or not.
She married a man next called SMITH and they divorced and then she married a man
call McGlaughlin.
As much as I know is that he married my g grandmother who was 28 years older
than she. We don't know anything about James family except they were born in
Ireland and his mother spent most of her time in Northern Ireland and her last
name might be SHARP or SHARPE.
I did check the ships and found a James McCollum who was the exact same age
as my James. However he had a wife and child with him on the ship. I believe
the ship was in London and the next stops he had listed was another state and
then New Orleans.
I don't know how to make a connection with this James to see if he might of
divorced or if maybe the wife and daughter got some kind of sickness and died.
I do know that James made money tap dancing in bars. After he married my g
grandmother his last name was changed to McCALLUM instead of McCOLLUM. He
married her in Michigan, Daisy M. BROWN was her name.
If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it as I have been searching for
a long time and any clues would be great.
God Bless
Pam
