Hi McCollum friends:

My grandmother was Laura Agnes McCollum Willis 1869 GA - 1952 GA. I
believe her ancestry to be as follows:
Daniel McCollum 1760 NJ - 1842 GA
William "Billy" McCollum 1789 SC 1876 GA
Jesse Miller McCollum 1811 SC - 1907 GA
Laura Agnes McCollum

If anyone wishes to share information about this line, I would be happy to
do so.

But my specific question today, is concerning Leon McCollum. Leon
McCollum, Sr. of GA, married Laura Lathem, who was the granddaughter of
Laura Agnes above. I believe Leon, Sr.'s father to be Oscar McCollum, in
the early 1900's the Sheriff of Cherokee Co GA. I would like to know more
about this line of McCollum's. I am interested to see if they are tied to
the David McCollum line listed as above.
