I have a John McCracken in my family but he was born abt. 1756 in North
Carolina and died abt. 1830 or 1865 and was married to a Sarah Luck. The
only child that I know of was their son, Joseph Richmond McCracken born
about 1788 in North Carolina. He was married to Isabella Thompson about 1812
in Rutherford County, Tenn. and died about 1865 in Marion Co., Ark.
I don't know if there could be some connection in some way between our two
families or not.
