I haven't "worked" the Bell line yet, but do have a connection with
McCrackens. Robert HOLMES (1748-1838) married Marjery BELL ( ca1760-1841).
Their daughter, Elizabeth (1788-1870) married Thomas McCRACKEN (1887-1858).
Thomas & Elizabeth's 9th child (first daughter) was named Margery Jane.
Thomas is son of John & Jean LYTLE McCracken.

These Mc's are verified from Rowan Co NC to Williamson/Maury CO TN to
Polk/Hickory CO MO.
