Passes in California

Robert Ligle McElroy, 57, a long-time resident of San Francisco and for
the past two months a Centralia resident, died at a veteran's hospital in
San Francisco Tuesday.
The deceased was born March 26, 1901, in Missouri, and was a veteran of
World Wars I and II, serving in the Navy. The family home is at 508 East
Main St.
Surviving Mr. McElroy are his wife, Florence, Centralia; two daughters,
Mrs. Ed Haureiter, Chehalis, and Mrs. Ira Holly, Calif; a step-son, Floyd
Clements, San Francisco, and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Newell-Hoerling's,
Centralia. Dr. Fred T. Lucas will officiate and interment will be at
Mountain View.
