Clarissa Durham married Marcus Alexander York, Sr. and this is how they come into my family. My grandmother, Sarah Elizabeth York, married Jacob Silas McElroy in 1877 in Boone Co., AR. Sarah Elizabeth (Lizzie) York was the daughter of Marcus Alexander, Jr and Adeline Elizabeth Crumpler.

Clarissa Durham was the daughter of James Lindsey Durham, Sr and Pharey Angela (unknown last name).
