My brother, father, and I are participating in Family Tree DNA's new
project, Family Finder. The test calculates if you are related within 5
generations to someone else in the database; but it has the potential of going
back 10 generations with less accuracy. The test is $293 with shipping and

Has anyone else on this List participated in this project yet? Have you
had any luck?
I am hoping for some hits on my 7th generation and earlier. This might
get interesting with so many families intermarrying in Maryland and Kentucky.
