Subject: [McGEHEE] Need this!
Here is what I would like. I need every male McGehee who could have born
a child in VA or W.VA in the time period 1805 to 1820.
Since Milton was born abt 1810 to 1814 and his sister was born
1805-1807 and there is a possibility that there were other siblings then
that range of time is a good one. Now Milton could have been born in
Washington co VA or even Monroe Co VA etc in 1810 and then his parents
moved to TN in abt 1811 . But also his mother could have been pregnant
with him when his father died and then she remarried to someone else.
There are a lot of scenarios. Both parents could have died and he was
raised by someone else.
Anyway he is probably son of John or James or anyone really .But is
connected to Pillow-Thompson-Cloyd-Hill-Landrum-and others all of
Virginia.3 counties are predominant. Prince Edward-Halifax and
Washington co VA.
The Pillows-Thompsons connected here were in Maury-Bedford and Giles
Milton got hookd up somehow with people in Maury and Bedford co Tn at a
very early age.
The only ones with Milton in the family names were Jesse son of Charles
in VA then KY. This is Kevins line.
The other is remote but in GA are Milton- Hill names. And then the
Milton McGaughey in NC b abt 1800 who is not mine definitely but this
Milton's father has never been found and he may have had brothers of his
father who may have also had a Milton. It has been suggested by the
descendant of this Milton McGaughey in NC that his father was a Thomas.
So HELP Please. Pat
