The following obit is reprinted from the Oct. 30, 2002 edition of the Bristol Herald Courier, in
Bristol, Va. It is here with their permission.

Jacqueline L. McGhee

CHILHOWIE--Mrs. Jacqueline "Jackie" L. McGhee, 81, died
Monday, Oct. 28, 2002, in Valley Health Care Center. She was
preceded in death by her husband, James Reed McGhee; and son,
James Allen McGhee. She was a member of Chilhowie United
Methodist Church.

Survivors: one daughter, Donna M. Turley, Hampton, Va.; one
brother, John Campbell Whitely, Saltville; two sisters, Mary Virginia
Coe, Broadford, Va., and Jean Whitely Crabtree, Memphis, Tenn.;
two grandsons, David Turley and Tony Turley and wife, Brenda; and
one great-granddaughter, Erika Jacqueline Turley.

Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30,
2002, at Chilhowie United Methodist Church with Rev. Mary Briggs
and Rev. Kyle French officiating. Graveside services will be
conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Riverside Cemetery in Rich Valley.
Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Crabtree, Jason Carrico, Steve Whitely,
Chris Clear, Stephen McGhee, Greg McGhee and Dennis Snow.
Honorary pallbearers will be Shell Goodman, Millard Blevins, Brent
Foster and John Mason. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m.
just prior to the funeral service at the church. The family would like
to express special thanks and appreciation to the loving care
workers at Valley Health Care Center. D.R. Henderson Funeral Home
of Saltville is serving the family.

Note: I am of no relation, but my sympathies go out to those of you who are.
This is here as a lasting memorial for Mrs. McGhee.
