The following is what I have on my husbands McKee family. This family appears in VA and then WV. The first two generations have not been verified by me. Information for the later generations starting with John McKee comes from several family sources.

2.-- Rbt. Jr. b. 1776 VA, d. Oct. 30, Fredricks Co. VA., m. Jane Cather Sept. 5, 1793, Fredrick Co (dtr.of Jasper Cather and Barbara Lawrence)

I have more dates etc. on the above, and additional information on the generations following Samuel McKee my husbands g.father.. Hope this all helps someone. Any comments or corrections appreciated.
