Subject: Hester McKee jackpot

Message: Hester was born either 5 Feb or 6 March 1819 in Fleming Co., Ky.
Wm. Wiedner was her 1st husband. Solomon Roderick her 2nd husband. Her
parents were William McKee 1783-1872 (I have a photo of him) and Hester
Adams 1785-1846. Her grandparents were: Guion McKee and Abigail Lane and
Elijah Adams Jr. and Hannah Blair. Guion/Gavin McKee was a revolutionary war
veteran who froze his feet at Valley Forge,PA. William his son served for KY
in the war of 1812. Wm later moved to Vermillion Co.,Il. because of the
horrors of slavery he observed in KY. Ray McAdams

Message: Yes I have full family sheets on William McKee-Hester Adams and
their eleven children, with their dates of birth,marriage (with spouces) and
death. I also have a family sheet for Guion McKee-Abigail Lane and their 9
children, with their dates as above. I'm missing complete info on one of
their daughters (she may have died in infancy and left no history). Give me
an address or e-mail and I'll send some of the stuff. Just give me a little
time as I am swamped and we go to a family reunion in Aug. I have
volunteered to copy everyones family photos, so I have to go. I am
interested in your line back to Hester. Yes I would like a copy of Hester &
husband although I may have one among my unidentified photos. I also have
photos of William McKee's bible listing your Hester's birth. Ray McAdams---a
cousin.

I found old photos of Wm & Hester's tombstones in the DAR library in
Wash.DC. Currently Wm's is in bad shape and Hester's is in fragments. The
photos were probably taken in the 1920's and were put in a manila folder
which I located in the DAR library. My wife is a DAR member. You are
eligible if interested. I could be in the SAR (sons of the American
Revolution) on several lines, but I'm not a joiner. I have a copy of Guion
McKee's Revolutionary pension application.

Message: Some time back I found Guain McKee in the Ancestral file at family
search.org. Think this may have been at least a year ago. The record then
indicated he and Abigale were botu buried in Flemingsburg, Fleming County,
KY.
