I am posting my interest in the McKee surname:

My 4th great grandmother was Agnes/Nancy McKee. She was born about 1770/1775
in Ireland as stated by 2 of her children on the 1880 census of Adams Co.,
OH. She married James Carson about 1795, probably in PA. Their first child,
Mary Jane Carson was born 1796/97 in PA according to the census. They came
to Adams Co., OH about 1805/06, as stated in land records, when they bought
land in Wayne Twp., Adams Co., OH.

They had children: Mary Jane b. 1796/97, married Samuel Demint; John Carson
b 1799 md Rachel Beam (my 3rd gr. grandparents); James McKee Carson b. 1802
md Mary Dunham; William Carson b. Oct 1803 md Sarah____; Jane/Jenny Carson
b. 1811 md James McClughen. They all lived and died in Adams/Brown Co., OH.

Agnes's husband, James Carson died in 1818 and left her a widow with 5
children.

I am looking for the parents of Agnes McKee! Would appreciate any help that
you can give.
