a few facts from NYC on Mckees

There is a Robert McKee in Brooklyn Directory 1889,1890, a carpenter,
address- 939 Butler.

Robert McKee : Co. G. 94th NY Inf. pvt (100 NYV)
" Co. G. 105th NY Inf pvt
" Co. K, 25th NY Inf pvt.

There is a pension application from a Mary J. McKee, for the Robert
McKee in the 94th NY and the 105th NY Inf. She also was guardian for
Mary McKee. Application # 275682. It's one application with both
regiments on it, so it must be the same Robert. It states that the
Robert in the 94th Rgt. deserted at Gettysburg, 5 Jul 63. The 94th Rgt
was in
many of the famous battles of the war.


The other Robert McKee, in the 25th Rgt. enlisted 13 May 1861 and
deserted at Staten Island 29 Jun 61.
