My Great-grandfather was Jackson McKee. Cemetery record of Zion Cemetery,Westland Township,Guernsey County, says "Jackson McKee 1814-1843. Administrator and Executives Docket B,page245,15 April 1844 names Samuel McKee and Elizabeth McKee as Administrators.
Marriage certificate of Guernsey County,says, Jackson Mckee, of Muskingum County, and Elizabeth Jane Ross,of Guernsey County were married 3 April 1838
Land records show Jackson McKee,of Guernsey County, purchased 83 acres of land, in Guernsey County, from James Magee and wife Nancy, on 5 April 1838.
Jackson and Elizabeth had 2 sons Joseph born August 1839,who died in the Civil War, and James Jackson born 19 April 1841, at Claysville,Guernsey County. My Grandfather.
On 18 November 1856, Robert McKee was named Guardian Of JOseph Mckee, age 17 and James Mckee age 15, sons and heirs of Jackson McKee
