My McKee's were from Gentry County, MO, that is in the N.W. part of the state. Not exactly sure when they came to MO from KY but my gr-grandmother Eliza Cook and gr-grandfather Isaiah McKee were married in 1885 in Gentry County. I have a picture of an old couple whom I suspect might be Isaiah's parents. On the back of the picture it says, "John W. McKee" below that it says "Mr and Mrs James McKee 1845". Not sure what the date means, could be the couple was married in 1845.
