I was interested in whether you have any McKee's who came from Kentucky to Southern Indiana (Owen Co.) during the 1840's-50's. I have been trying to find the parents of Alexander McKee, Freedom IN. He married Nancy Harris. Thanks to anyone who might help.

Hello:

My McKee family is Andrew McKee b. 1747 in Northern Ireland. He supposedly
came to the USA about 1757 with his father and brothers William and Thomas.

Andrew served in the Rev. War, and signed up for service with his 2 brothers
at Carlisle, PA in about 1776.

We are looking for proof of the father of all of these McKee's. Some think
it is William b. 1696 in Minnigaff, Kirkcudbright, Scotland. It would sure
be nice to find some proof that he is the father, then we would have the
family back several generations in Scotland.

Any information would be appreciated.
