My Mckee family is said to have came from Ireland
about about 1837.

Robert's father is thought to be Alexander Mckee b.
about 1813 Ireland. Still searching for him. He was a
clothier in NYC. Robert was a tailor, his sister Mary
was a dressmaker. In 1870 Mary was listed with Robert
and his family in Essex Co, NJ census

Robert James Mckee b. 1836 Ny. died 1920 Sedgwick Co.,
Ks. he was married to Cordelia Jane Noyes . They moved
to Hancock Co., Ill. about 1871, They are listed in
the 1880 census.

They were in Wichita, Ks by 1888. They had eight
children. They both died in Ks.

Does anyone connect to this line or have info on
Alexander Mckee?
