You are probably right about my Eliza and Edward and Andrew McKee. Thank you
for suggesting the connection. It is definitely worth following up on.

I'm afraid that you know more than I do right now, but I do know that some
Fishers are somehow involved with one or more of my lines. We should explore
this further, especially given their marriage dates and locations.

Have you found a will for the parents (Andrew and Elizabeth UNKNOWN McKee)
of Edward and Andrew? A will, probate, indentures, tax lists, or court
records might help. Wouldn't a bible record be a stroke of luck here?

Did Edward and Mary Hand McKee stay in Washington County VA?

Do you know if Andrew went to IN? The story that I've seen says that Eleazer
Rouse (son of Dr. John Rouse and Virginia McClure) and Eliza McKee moved to
IN in 1833 (but they were married in 1823 in Washington County VA). Their
son John Rouse was born btw. 1828-1834, depending on what source record you
look at, in London, VA (now WV). He may have been born enroute to IN.
