William McKee born about 1788 and died April 13, 1856 Bangor Abby
Married Agnes McKee born about 1807 and died March 1, 1885 Bangor Abby
They had
John McKee born about 1785 and died July 24, 1870 New Zealand (is he buried in Bangor Abby or New Zealand????)
John McKee married Sarah Demense McKee born about 1833 and died July 14, 1870 and they had (so far that we know…)
John William McKee – Dec 21, 1857
And My Great Grandpa - James William McKee – Oct 30, 1862, died May 23, 1919
His wife Jane Ellen McGowan – or could be Ellen Jane McGowan, but went by the name Jane. She was born April 6, 1869 and died about 1934 and both are buried in Bangor Abby.
They had four boys, Bill, Wesley, and twins George and Marshall
(You will notice that two of the boys married Molly’s and the other two married Lily’s)
Bill my Grandpa – William James Blissenden McKee (A certified copy of entry in the register of births spells his second middle name like Blissenden) (Blisonden from another document) September 10, 1896 (or Sept 20? from register) (Celebrated Birthday Oct. 10 because of mix-up) Register of births states he was born on Ruby St. in Bangor and midwife, Margaret McCready was present at his birth.
He Married to: Mary Elizabeth Mullan (Molly) Married on: December 31, 1925
Molly was born in Belfast, and lived in Bangor for a period of time on High Street before they moved to Canada. Bill and Molly married in Detroit, Michigan, USA. but lived in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. They had three girls, Ellen (my Mom), Betty, Joan all born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
Wesley McKee (Not sure of his FULL name?) born January 21, 1900 and died about 1931 in Bangor
He Married Elizabeth Greer (Lily), was born March 7th, 1902 and died about 1984 and buried in Windsor, Ontario, Canada
They had, Jim, Maureen and Jean and Anne – who died at a few months old. All in cemeteries in Windsor, Ontario, Canada
George Simpson McKee Sr. born September 12th, 1906 and died ??? is buried in Clandeboye Cemetery, Bangor. He married Mary Clark Young (Molly) …..I have nothing for her. They had, Robert, George Jr and Clark
Andrew Chambers Marshall McKee Sr. (Marshall) born September 12th, 1906 and died May 5, 1962, and buried in Clandyboye Cemetery, Bangor. He married Elizabeth Mary (Lily) Dean (Dixie or Dean) she was born about 1906 and died about 1975 and buried in Clandeboye Cemetery, Bangor.
They are the parents of: Marshall, June, Bill, Brian, Cora, Olga, Molly, Leslie, BeBe, Hugh, Jim, Victor, Bob, and Greta
