If you are Bruce or Derek McKee, then I am your cousin. Your father, Charles James Love Mckee was my mother's brother. She was Jessie Reid McKee, daughter of Charles D. McKee and Mary Reid who were also my grandparents. My mother and I immigrated to Amarillo, TX from Glasgow, Scotland in 1951 and lived with Gran and Granpa McKee and Chuck until they moved to Hamburg, NY. Your grandfather actually died in Washington, D.C. in 1963 while on a visit with my parents and was cremated and buried in Hamburg.
I'd love to correspond with you and feel certain that one of our remaining aunts (Madge Mathieson or Rosemary Blackburn) can answer most of your questions. Attached you will find a photo of all the McKees including your father who was about 1 1/2 when this was taken. I'm the baby in the back row. Look forward to hearing from you.
